Fonó receives Prima Primissima Award!
The Prima Primissima Award congratulates and encourages excellence in many sectors of Hungarian cultural and public life. On December 4, 2015 Fonó director László Horváth accepted the award in the folk arts and public education category at a special event at Budapest’s Palace of the Arts. Horváth thanked founder and owner József Lukács, and long-standing supporters Ilona Zettwitz and Sándor Zettwitz.
The Fonó announced that it shares this award with Sándor Csoóri Jr., founding member of the Muzsikás Ensemble and key personality in the dance house movement – without whose inspiration and encouragement the Fonó would not have come to life 20 years ago.
