Three years before the release of Kings & Queens we held a sold-out concert at the beautiful Liszt Academy in Budapest where we premiered our immensely popular ‘Wings’ album. We were already planning a new release that would showcase a really eclectic repertoire and would reflect on our sometimes sublime, other times extravagant, sometimes dark, other times jolly, sometimes heavy, other times sensitive nature. We wanted to build on the momentum of Wings, but with different music and different sound. We lived through extreme highs and lows in the previous years both on a global and on a professional and personal level and these are all echoed in the songs of this record and our performance.
