The publication contains nearly 200 photos of the Újbuda Babszem Folk Dance Ensemble. We can follow the children of the ensemble in performance and behind the scenes. The photos were taken over the past five years.
Through the photos we see the children’s joy in performing the dances and wearing folk costumes of Hungary’s various regions. Or we see them standing excitedly in front of the band or a festival jury. Knap has been able to catch how much the children express through folk dance.
In Újbuda Babszem Folk Dance Ensemble, children learn the dances according to Timár Sándor’s method for teaching authentic folk dances.
