The concert will be streamed live from the Fonó in Budapest. With a concert ticket it can be viewed again up until midnight (European time) on February 6th, 2021.

Erdőfű is an active group on the Hungarian folk scene. They have two formations: a smaller one for dance house and pub gigs; and a larger chamber orchestra for stage performances. A group of experienced musicians well-known on the Hungarian dance house circuit come together to perform authentic style traditional string music of the Carpathian Basin. This is the music that was played by village bands for Hungarians and other ethnic groups in the region. Erdőfű’s goal is to give an overview of the variety of this music, while at the same time preserving uniquenesses of particular areas or villages.
