Fonó is officially among the best Hungarian brands
Fonó Music Hall has won the title of MagyarBrand.
The Magyar Brands program has for six years been awarding Hungarian enterprises that have distinguished themselves in Hungary and abroad as a quality Hungarian brand. Fonó has now been voted in amongst the great Magyar brands. Those awarded are chosen by a jury according to seven professional standpoints in several rounds of voting. Winning this title is an outstanding credit as the Fonó celebrates its 20th birthday and nomination for Hungary's Prima Primissima award.
"Values associated with MagyarBrands are notoriety, popularity, reliability: tangible advantages for their partners and important guarantees for continuation of successful work."
Fonó Music Hall is not only a cultural space, venue for concerts and dance houses and festival organizer; it has also registered itself in the public eye as Hungary's first folk and world music recording label and a "WOMEX Top label".

This year the Fonó has been nominated for a Prima Primissima award - an award of excellence supported by Hungary's OTP Bank. They were voted "Prima" in the categories of Folk Arts and Culture and providing they win the public vote, they may also be "Primissima".
