On the occasion of his 40th birthday Felix Lajkó plays several concerts in Hungary and abroad from 2014, December 17th - his birthday - to 2015, February, this is the "Lajkó Félix marathon". Among others there will be a charity concert for the Hungarian Hospice Foundation at Music Academy, Budapest. The top of the marathon-events will be at the Palace of Arts, Budapest, 27 and 28, February where he plays three concerts in two days expanding those musical energies and thoughts which are vitalizing him guesting the most important artist-friends.

” Végtelen” / ”Infinity”

The new symphonic album of Lajkó Félix entitled ” Végtelen” / ”Infinity” with the Budafoki Dohnányi Zenekar conducted by Gábor Hollrung is out now. Thanks to an invitation their joint work began in the spring of 2013, and a year later production started. The first live performance of the album’s songs took place within Budapest Summer Festival on the Margaret Island Open-air Stage 13th July 2014.

The album entitled ” Végtelen” / ”Infinity” has been released by Fonó for the holiday season, and all pieces will be performed at the final event of the Lajkó Marathon at MUPA.

Félix Lajkó and János Balázs : ”Jelszó” / ”Password”

The first album of Félix Lajkó and János Balázs entitled ”Jelszó” / ”Password” has been released . These two musicians are well known by the public. They have become outstanding musicians in their personal styles, and have mesmerised the public on their own account: Félix Lajkó violin virtuoso with his improvisations and world music performances, while János Balázs pianist with his classical music. But what will the joint performance of two such strong characters be like? Limits dissolve, tunes appear while scores are nonexistent - only their souls tell them how to play the moment improvisation begins.
