Dresch Quartet’s brand new album Kapu és kert [Gate and Garden] has already been chosen “Jazz album of the Year” on a public voting launched by the jazzma jazz site. Cimbiózis by the Miklós Lukács Trio is also released, along with Making a Change by the Gábor Juhász Trio, the latter featuring Coltrane's legendary "Love Supreme" among other great works of music history. Previously an author’s edition scoring second place on the WMCE top list in January 2014, Buda Folk Band’s Magyar világi népzene [Worldly Hungarian Folk Music] has been taken over and republished by Fonó Records. Eszterlánc Band’s second album features outstanding ethnic Hungarian singer Anna Szilágyi from Transylvania as a returning guest.

Gábor Juhász Trio: Making a Change – with Coltrane's “Love Supreme”

Karavan Familia: asvin

A family band of parents and their two children, Karavan Familia celebrates its 10 ^th anniversary as a band with a special release. The anniversary album features ten songs performed together with ten guest artists, all of whom are also friends of the family. During its ten years of existence, Karavan Familia created its own musical world inspired by Gypsy vocal tradition.

Buda Folk Band: Magyar Világi Népzene [Worldly Hungarian Folk Music]

Comprised of second-generation Hungarian folk musicians, Buda Folk Band transfers authentic folk music into 21 ^st century urban environment, creating a sort of “urban tradition” for authentic village music. Having first been released as an author’s edition, their album Magyar Világi Népzene [Worldly Hungarian Folk Music] scored second place on the World Music Charts top list compiled by 48 radio-world music-specialists from 24 European countries. having been republished by Fonó Records, the album is now available ibn international circulation as well as via digital services.

Miklós Lukács Trio: Cimbiózis

“When composing it, I took special care to give all musicians equal importance. This is why the result was finally named Miklós Lukács Trio: Cimbiózis , referring to the essential symbiosis existing between us”. (Miklós Lukács) Led by outstanding cimbalom player Miklós Lukács, the Trio has been a returning guest of Fonó ever since its formation. Their music having been shaped gradually during concerts hosted by our music hall, Fonó Records is now proud to release the first Cimbiózis album.
