Parapács Band:
Bëbocsātlak [Let insight]
Having won the folk music category of folk talent show Fölszállott a páva in 2012, Parapács Band now releases its debut album titled Bëbocsātlak [Let insight] through Fonó Records. The music director of the album is ethnomusicologist and musician Gergely Agócs who also gave the Band his mostly unpublished ethnic Hungarian folk music collection from southern Slovakia.
Album release concert is on 24 April at the Hungarian Heritage House as an event of the Budapest Folk Fest program series.

Lajos Kathy Horváth: Alfa & Omega
Yehudi Menuhin Prize receiving violinist Lajos Kathy Horváth was elected member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts this spring. In his grand orchestral work Alfa & Omega , he demonstrates his superb musical and artistic skills by playing all instruments himself, recorded on multiple tracks. Recorded in 2001–02, this extraordinary performance is now available again at Fonó Records.
