Ágnes Herczku: ”Bandázom” / ”Hanging out”
The second solo album of Ágnes Herczku is entitled ”Bandázom” / ”Hanging out”. This album was first envisaged by its producer, music composer, and sound engineer Nikola Parov, with whom Ági has been working together since 1999 (when the grand dance event of the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble entitled "Naplegenda" was first put on stage).
This album is a worthy successor of their previous albums (
Volt nékem szeretőm, Megéred még
) inspired by the talent, knowledge and open mind of these four young folk musicians: Máté Hegedűs and Bence Pálházi (violin), Márton Fekete (viola), and Péter Molnár (double bass). This tight knit unit of Nikola Parov, Sándor Födő, and Ágnes Herczku was joined by this folk band a year ago, and a new community was formed after many concerts, tours full of shared experiences.
It is no coincidence that Ági chose
”Bandázom” / ”Hanging out
” to be the
title of their latest album.

Klára Bodza: ”Ó, áldott Szűzanya” / ”Oh, Blessed Virgin Mother”
The name of this József Eötvös award winning singer, artist, and teacher is familiar to every student of music. For Klára Bodza this sacred album is her last big dream of her life, the result of turning her attention inwards, it is the essence of her life’s experience – as she puts it. At the same time it is also a musical delicacy, since voice, poetry, and prayer mingle with music in different ways. Buy

Második Műszak
This album is a quality jam session with such friends of the Kossuth award winning musician - who has been active in other formations - as Gábor Presser, György Ferenczi or Misi Mező. The band leader Attila Szabó – who is a member of Csík ensemble, and the composer of many of its songs - contributed to the album Második Műszak with six songs.
His excellent collaborators in this formation are again Zsolt Barcza, József Bartók and Péter Makó. You might know Zsolt Pintér’s name from Rackajam, and Ábel Mihalik is a member of Kiscsillag Band – it is truly a show of Hungarian stars of music.
Besides his own compositions, interpretations of songs by Kispál és a Borz to LGT are featured on this album. Buy
