The Hungarian House in New York is located in Yorkville, in the imposing Upper East Side of Manhattan. This area used to be inhabited completely by Hungarians.
Between 8th and 10th of September, the Hungarian House in New York and the Association of Folk Art Unions is having a large-scale Hungarian festival: “Second “Magyar Örökség” Hungarian Heritage Festival” bearing the subtitle “Festival of Folk Arts in New York” this year. The large-scale festival atmosphere is ensured by the 23 artists who will be present at the event. These artists include folk applied artists, folk dancers and musicians.
Works of art of the highest quality of the Hungarian cultural heritage will be presented in an interactive way for the American-Hungarian and American audiences of New York in the Hungarian House of New York and its front porch.
