Teenage Dance House with Szapora Banda

Szapora Banda performs the diverse melodies of the Carpathian Basin’s folk music in the traditional instrumentation of string bands, striving for an authentic, stylistically faithful interpretation. The band consists of young folk musicians who are still studying, from both sides of the border. You could say we are like the border stones of a country: “we may all face different directions, but we hold one landscape together, the world of Hungarian folk music!”

Félix Ferenc Marczika – violin
Zénó Sima – violin
Bence Tóth – violin
