Reni & Boka: Forrás - Album Release Concert (with Childcare)

We are parents ourselves, so we understand how, because of bedtime routines and distances, live music and recharging can slip into the background in the life of a parent with small children. That’s why, at our album release concert, we would like to create the opportunity for you to come and enjoy quality adult “me-time,” while knowing that your child is nearby and safe.

At the album release concert, the same music intended for adults will be performed as at the evening show, only with an afternoon start time.

Childcare will be provided inside the venue, in the lobby of Fonó, with experienced caregivers.

IMPORTANT: Anyone who requires childcare must write to reni8boka@gmail.com.

Childcare is available for a recommended donation of 4,000 HUF per child in addition to the ticket price, but only with prior registration. If you request childcare on the day of the event, we cannot guarantee availability due to limited capacity.

The afternoon concert will only take place if at least 40 people register in advance via the above email address. If attendance does not reach 40 people, the concert will not be held.

Invitation:
One pebbled morning by the Danube in spring 2022, we suddenly realized - no, more than realized, we felt it shiver through us - that music with lyrics was pouring from the sky between us. Unstoppably.

These songs, like a slow, steady river flowing from source to sea, made space for themselves. Within us, around us, and now they are ready to do the same in you. We herded some of them into a studio, seasoned them with the playfulness of the present, listened to them until we could barely listen anymore, worried about them, and then fell in love with them again. And now we would like to present them to you at the first major concert of our first full-length album, on March 19, on the stage of Fonó Budai Zeneház.

Although the album begins from our duo, it comes to life as a whole in the company of our friends. On this evening, our invited guests will be:

The Iszlai Reni - Szász Márk Boka duo was formed in 2022 in the Danube Bend region. Their shared musical world is shaped by polyphonic singing, instrumental improvisation, and abstract stor ytelling. Reni comes from a classical and contemporary music background, while Boka draws from African, Brazilian, and Cuban influences. Reni is a clarinet artist who graduated from the Academy of Music, an award-winning creator with several scholarships, the dreamer of interactive musical programs, and a member of Bélaműhely. Boka is a world-traveling musician, participant in international collaborations, composer, and leader of improvisational singing circles.

With their duo, they won the “Öröm a zene” talent competition in 2025, and in 2026 they became supported artists of the NKA Hangfoglaló Program.
