Three Albums, One Evening – Shared Musical Roots
One singer, two lead violinists (Borbála Fekete – vocals, Barbara Kuczera – violin, Márton Kovács – violin) and three individual albums come together for one evening on the Fonó stage.
Their common ground is authentic Hungarian folk music, and within it, their shared love of Mezőség in Transylvania. The concert will feature primarily folk music from Magyarpalatka, Magyarszovát, Erdőszombattelke and the Szamos region.
The music is performed in its original form: the melodies and musical language of the tradition remain intact, while each performance also carries the personalities, sensitivity and individual musical worlds of the performers.
The accompaniment is provided by iconic musicians of the Hungarian dance house movement:
Antal ’Puma’ Fekete – viola
Gergely Kerékgyártó – viola
Judit Kompár-Rőmer – viola
Pál Havasréti – double bass
András Lelkes – double bass
Péter Molnár – double bass
Zoltán Bobár – accordion
Luca Hegedűs – cimbalom
Ticket price: HUF 2,500 in advance, HUF 3,000 on the day of the event
