The legendary Tuvan throat-singing and world music ensemble Huun Huur Tu is returning to Fonó!

For decades, Huun Huur Tu has been one of the best-known and most influential representatives of throat singing. Their music originates in the endless steppes of Tuva, yet effortlessly crosses cultural and linguistic boundaries. Hypnotic throat singing, traditional Tuvan instruments and the sounds of nature create a unique musical world that is both ancient and timeless.

Their concerts offer more than a musical experience, they are also a journey into a distant culture, where melodies, rhythms and the human voice open up entirely new dimensions. It is no coincidence that Huun Huur Tu has performed at some of the world’s most important concert halls and festivals, while in Hungary, Fonó has traditionally been their home for concerts.

The day after the concert, the ensemble will also hold a special throat-singing workshop in English, giving participants the opportunity to explore this unique vocal technique and Tuvan musical traditions up close.
