Fonó Wednesday: Szucság Dances Closing Gala and Season Finale Dance House

During this dance course, participants had the opportunity to explore the dances of a unique transitional region: Szucság and its surroundings represent a distinctive style on the border of Kalotaszeg. This area includes several villages of minor noble origin situated between Cluj-Napoca and Kalotaszeg. Here, the men's dance is not the familiar legényes, but an energetic verbunk, while the couple dances may seem familiar at first glance yet still contain unique and surprising elements.

The evening will follow this schedule:

19:00-19:45 Review and practice of the dances learned during the course (Main Hall: beginners, Barn Hall: advanced)

20:30-21:30 Gala performance in the Barn Hall

21:30-01:00 Dance house
