Next time, we’ll explore the dances of a unique transitional region: Szucság and its surroundings represent a distinctive style on the border of Kalotaszeg. This area includes several small noble-origin villages located between Cluj-Napoca and Kalotaszeg. Here, the men’s dance is not the usual legényes, but a dynamic verbunk, while the couple dances may feel familiar yet still hold unique surprises.
