Folk On: Two on One Road - 10 Years of Songs

Folk on 45 is an acoustic duo consisting of vocalist Lili Träger and guitarist Lajos Szőllősi.

Folk on 45 is a unique act where the atmosphere of international hits meets the motifs of Hungarian folk songs. Rather than creating covers, the duo brings these influences together in entirely new songs and a fresh musical world. Using a looper pedal, they build a vibrant, pulsating soundscape live, gradually layering every element, from rhythm and harmony to melody, to create an almost full-band sound. Within this musical space, built up in real time, Hungarian folk songs find their place not as simple recreations, but as contemporary musical statements in a new context.
