Ethnotech x Fonó: SZEDER EP release show, guest: BORÓ

The season-closing episode of the Ethnotech and Fonó world music series is coming up, featuring two special acts!

After a long time, Szeder returns to the stage with a full band lineup, and the concert will also serve as the release show for her new EP. The evening will be opened by a young emerging talent, Boró, who will perform her own compositions on May 14 at Fonó Budai Zeneház (Fonó Music House).

SZEDER

Szeder, a Junior Artisjus Prize-winning singer-songwriter, has been a unique presence in the Hungarian pop and indie folk-pop scene since 2013. Through her distinctive perspective, she seeks to transform everyday life into something brighter with small wonders, humor, and imagination. Alongside joyful moments, emotional depths also appear in her musical world, and through her lyrics she aims to offer support along the often uneven path of self-discovery. Her goal is to contribute to a freer, more liberated way of living through her music and work. Her performance style creates a direct and interactive connection with the audience. Szeder performs her songs in various formations, and in addition to concerts, she also leads special meditative sound journeys and voice-liberation workshops.

In her full band setup, the intensity of energy, emotion, and dynamic contrasts becomes even more vivid on stage. The concert is characterized by a delicate balance of strength and softness: a colorful musical experience with interactive moments and an elevated yet intimate atmosphere.

BORÓ

Boró is a singer-songwriter who pairs deeply honest, personal lyrics with a rich and varied rhythmic and melodic world. Her songs are primarily inspired by the desire for self-improvement and the vulnerability of human nature. She released her debut EP Someone Else’s Beat in December 2025. This time, she will perform in a trio formation.
