Ethnotech x Fonó: Annamari Oláh, Guest: Musica Moralia Solo

The world music series by Ethnotech and Fonó Budai Zeneház continues!

This time, ANNAMARI OLÁH (formerly of Meszecsinka) takes the stage with a solo performance.

Annamari Oláh’s music creates a distinctive, richly diverse sonic world, where soft, ethereal sounds coexist with rawer, more instinctive, shamanic and otherworldly expressions.

Just as in human nature, her repertoire brings together softness and rawness, restraint and extremity, lightness and wildness. Her music is not defined by a single mood or genre, but by a wide range of musical influences and experiences that have gradually evolved into her own unique sound.

Her songs draw inspiration from both Nordic and Eastern sounds, Hungarian folk songs, and the distinctive musical worlds of artists such as Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq and Tuvan vocalist Sainkho Namtchylak. These influences have come together to form a unique musical language in which diverse elements blend naturally.

Her concerts feature unusual and distinctive sounds: some songs are delicate and ethereal, while others are raw, instinctive, or even disconcertingly intense. The music can be as unpredictable, extreme, and surprising as human nature itself, and that is precisely what makes it so exciting.
