In Eastern cultures, *arura* is a mythical and mystical plant believed to cure both physical and spiritual ailments—a true miracle worker. The music of the Arura Trio embodies this essence, offering self-healing and collective healing through melodies that flow towards the soul’s registers. Weaving elements of jazz, folk, contemporary music, and improvisation, their sound is deeply rooted in the moment. In 2014, they released their debut album, *Szemed kincse* (*The Treasure of Your Eyes*), composed by the band’s saxophonist, which was awarded Album of the Year upon its release.

Balázs Elemér Group

The Balázs Elemér Group was founded in 2000 by Elemér Balázs, a jazz drummer and composer who has received the Gramofon and Fonogram awards, as well as the Silver Cross of Merit of the Republic of Hungary. Over the past 22 years, the band has captivated audiences and critics alike, performing at prestigious venues like New York’s Blue Note bar and major European festivals.

Their distinctive sound is characterized by melody-driven compositions, intricate rhythms, and the evocative interplay of male and female vocals. Their music is highly diverse, often venturing into the world of ethno styles while reimagining folk motifs and melodies in fresh and exciting ways, both in their concerts and recordings.
