Zsongom

A group performing musical adaptations of poems and original songs – was formed in 2016. The friendships built over the years and the joy of creating together continue to drive our band today. Our songs are characterized by an acoustic light music sound, text-centered compositions, and elements of blues and folk motifs.

As a summary of our first five years, we released our debut album, *Csillagjáró*, in the fall of 2021. The album explores themes of personal growth through faith and self-discovery and includes musical adaptations of poems by Magda Füzesi, Sándor Kányádi, Jenő Dsida, and Gyula Juhász, among others. We were delighted that the recordings from this album were featured in the light music programs of Hungarian Catholic Radio (*Kvaterka*, *Hangoló*, and *Hangárium*).

Our performances have taken us to Várafenes, Romania (2016, 2017), Baja (2018), Cegléd (2018), Várpalota (2019, 2021), Adony (2020, 2021), Kecskemét, Székesfehérvár, and Apaj (2022). We have also participated in events such as the *VersDal Festival* (2017), the *Ars Sacra Festival* (2019), the *Day of Reformed Unity Festival* in Debrecen (2019), the *Csillagpont Festival* (2021), and the *Reformed Music Festival* (2024).

For the past four years, we have been regular performers at the *Művészetek Völgye* festival, contributing to the light music programs of the *Lélekzet Reformed Courtyard* in Taliándörögd. We have also performed twice as guest musicians at the ecumenical closing event of the *Kaláka Poetry Courtyard* in Kapolcs.

In the fall of 2024, we plan to release our second album, *Megérkezés*, with recordings and concerts supported by the NKA Light Music College.
