Rézeleje Fanfárosok: Beköszönő - album launch and dance house

The Rézeleje Fanfárosok have been playing together since 2020, primarily focusing on Moldavian and Balkan dance music. Wherever they appear, they conjure up the atmosphere of how folk melodies continue to thrive in their original context in the present day: played on modern instruments with the crisp sound of a brass band.

Their debut album, titled 'Beköszönő' (Greeting), is a significant milestone in the band's life. Therefore, they considered it important for the material played – as much as the allotted 16 and a half minutes allow – to reflect where they started, where they are heading, and the influences that have shaped them into the group now known as "Rézeleje."

The songs on the album were born in the world of Csángó-Hungarian culture, coexisting with Romanian muzica populară in the same space, and the realm of Balkan folk music. What makes the sound unique is the diverse, complementary tastes and creative energy stemming from the different musical backgrounds of the band members, as well as the unique instrument composition that makes the band stand out in Hungary.
