JAZZFEST BUDAPEST: Intergeese feat. Robert Wypasek

Intergeese was founded by three young musicians in February 2023. The members all come from different musical backgrounds and are new, active participants in the emerging music scene. The band’s repertoire consists of original compositions, mainly inspired by Hungarian and other folk music, mixed with hip-hop, modern jazz and free music elements. „Our goal is to find a musical path that is true to the ancestors but also remains relevant and fresh in today’s music world.”

Born in 1999, Polish tenor and soprano saxophonist Robert Wypasek has won numerous awards in his home country despite his young age, including at Jazz Juniors and Jazz nad Odrą competitions. He is currently a student at the FNHW Musik Akademia Basel Jazz Campus together with Zoltán Fekete.
