Fonó Wednesday: Dances of Györgyfalva

On Fonó Wednesdays we welcome beginner and advanced dancers who are interested in deepening their knowledge of regional dances through weekly dance classes. Live music instruction runs concurrently in both beginner and advanced groups, followed by singing lessons and a dance house.

During our Fonó Wednesday course, you can learn the traditional dances of Györgyfalva (Gheorgheni), a village located 10 km from Cluj-Napoca, on the border of Kalotaszeg and the Mezőség regions.
