Dűvő 45th anniversary concert and dance house

The band, performing in the traditional string ensemble format, is celebrating its 45th anniversary. Since its formation in 1979, the band, rooted in Salgótarján, has been a steadfast representative of the musical heritage of the Carpathian Basin. For over four decades, they have remained true to the authentic and traditional presentation of folk music. Their work is marked by numerous ethnographic collections, records, and concert tours. They have brought the spirit of Hungarian folk music to many countries, from China to the Baltic states, from Israel to Sweden, and from the United States to Siberia. They are frequent guests in South America, Canada, and the USA. Their repertoire includes the music of every ethnic group from the Carpathian Basin. The band has undergone several changes over the years and has been performing in its current lineup since 2008.
