Baló Sámuel trio, guest: Dresch Mihály

Sámuel Baló, the young pianist, mentions the concert of the Dresch Quartet as one of his early jazz experiences. Since then, it has been a long journey to the point where he was able to play music together with his Kossuth prize-winning colleague, Mihály Dresch. His music has deep roots, since his father, István Baló, is an old musician friend of Mihály Dresch as a drummer. The experiences of his childhood resound in his music, which have now become part of his own works. Sámuel's music is born from the organic unity of compositions and improvisation, and is mainly fed by his own compositions. Their joint work with Mihály Dresch gives a new dimension to our sound world, so the freedom of musical communication and improvisation on stage always results in a fresh and unique sound.
