Sergő Band

Magyarul muzsikáljam!

This concert presents folk music of the main regions of the Carpathian Basin and Transylvania. Sergő Band was formed in 2015 and has been working with the present line-up since 2019. Their repertoire features traditional bowed string music of the region. The band stresses the importance of performing high quality, true-to-style folk music. In addition to the popular dance house cycles of music, they also perform special music from some lesser known areas.
The band can now boast many successful performances at festivals in Hungary and abroad (Romania, France, Poland, Germany). They were pleased to have been chosen for the 2021 “Táncház-Népzene” recording which features a selection of the best Hungarian dance house musicians.

Tickets: 1000 Ft (includes entrance to Berka –Erdőfű dance houses)
