Record release concert: From a Proper Distance

The audience may find the crew of Nunki Bay Starship familiar from other popular Hungarian bands. In this project they join their musical talents and inspirations to form their own universe. Their own name for their style is “audiovisual wormhole” – their music operates with elements of pop, neo-soul and jazz, spiced with r&b and psychedelic sound. Their first album was released in 2019. They have had the opportunity to play in clubs, tour and play at festivals all over Hungary. After a change of members last year, they are ready to take on the world with their new album “From a Proper Distance”. The new material shows a musically clearer direction and brings up problems and ideologies that we’d rather sweep under the rug in our everyday lives.
