Martin György - (the brilliant Hungarian dance ethnographer) without whom most of our traditional dances would have already disappeared without a trace - once happened to record the whistling of Kalotaszeg legényes dancer Mátyás István Mundruc. The recording shows more than just someone who was a good whistler, it supports a subject Martin often wrote about:
a good dancer has an outstanding knowledge of the dance music.
This time Páva Club presents young folk dancers known all over the country as excellent dancers that also play music. The core of the band is made up of dancers from the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble (artistic director: Zsuráfszky Zoltán)
