A one of a kind family band made up of parents and their children. Over the last fifteen years Karaván Família has created their own world of Gypsy vocal tradition. Their repertoire proves that Gypsy music is intelligent and witty, wise and embracing. The source of their melodies is not just one region or one group of Roma, but the entire European Gypsy cultural and musical heritage. Alongside various typical European Gypsy music styles, the atmosphere of Latin music, blues or pop can be felt in their songs – and a new kind of world music is born of all of those. Along with the variety, Karaván Familia is able to preserve their style which is at the same time youthful and respectful of tradition, entertaining and lovable.
