Helka Banda

Debreczeni-Kis Helga 'Helka' is a student at the Liszt Academy of Music and was a finalist in the 2017 “Páva” folk talent competition televised on Hungarian TV. As she masters authentic Hungarian folk music, the mainstay of her musical path is her search for self-knowledge while testing the wings of her own musicality. Her concerts show an interest in the folk music of other ethnic groups, as she makes Hungarian folk song and folk music her own. She finishes her concert with an original composition. The zither and song are completed by the secure foundation provided by coboz and double bass.
