Tárkány Trio

This trio presents the three musicians from Tárkány Művek Band that focus on authentic style Hungarian folk music: Junior Prima award winning cymbalom player Tárkány-Kovács Bálint, viola player Fekete "Kispuma" Márton and double bass player Molnár Péter. These musicians also play together in a number of other Hungarian formations, such as: Herczku Ági and her band, Magos , Dovbrova, Kalász Máté Band, Erdőfű Band.

The cimbalom–viola-double bass formation is a classic, easily transportable folk music band. Their program includes pieces by Hungarian, Romanian, Gypsy, Sinto composers along with their own arrangements.
