Concert: Szlama László and Bolya Mátyás

Two outstanding cobza players that play in several different kinds of formations. They are founding members of KobzART the plucked instrument workshop of the Liszt Academy of Music’s Folk Music Department, the main instrument of which is the coboz. Their repertoire relies on a basis of folk music, historical music, instrumental chamber music and improvisation. Both sung poetry by Balassi and music of the Middle East appear in their concerts.
