BorFolk Band - concert
Though Borfolk Band considers themselves to be a Budapest band, half of the band members hail from Hungarian communities outside of Hungary’s present borders. The band’s goal is to preserve authentic style Hungarian folk music, while especially popularizing the folk music that goes along with the Hungarian wine tradition, wine-related song and merriment. They play first of all village Hungarian peasant music, with an added interest in finding poetry of the great Hungarian poets in folklore. Members of the band : Manninger Katica, Székely Levente, Olasz György, Kovács Géza, Szűcs Sándor, Pálfi Zsolt with guest artist - Túri András.
