DUE TO THE PANDEMIC SITUATION THE FORMAT FOR FONÓ WEDNESDAY EVENING EVENTS WILL CHANGE starting Wednesday September 23rd, 2020.

Instead of the usual Fonó Wednesday Dance House – we announce Fonó Folk Music Club Night
Every Wednesday there will be folk music CONCERT followed by informal music in a casual atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome!

2020.09.23. - 8 PM Fonó Wednesday Club Night with: Tükrös Band
(the originally scheduled Palatka Band concert has been cancelled)

Tükrös Band was formed in Budapest in 1986 with the goal of playing authentic style folk music from the Hungarian language area. The band members who had all started out studying classical music, met the traditional musicians and went to Transylvania to learn as much as they could about the folk culture. They have ended up dedicating their lives to authentic Hungarian folk music. Their masters have been the musicians of old village bands who spent their lives playing music together for local traditional dance events.
