The Band was founded in September 2017 by enthusiastic music academy students. Their goal is to perform and stage authentic Hungarian folk music from carefully selected sources. In addition to dance houses, they play with the Bihari and Bartók Dance Ensembles, and they place more emphasis on independent appearances.

The Bartók Dance Ensemble is one of the longest-running Hungarian dance ensembles. Their stage shows and choreographies are based on original dance materials and collections. The artistic director of the ensemble is Lilla Szoboszlai-Kálmán and István Mosóczi.
