ONLINE! Double concert: Berka and Tázló bands: Moldavian Csángó folk music
Berka Ensemble
, formed in 2008, has been playing traditional Moldavian Csángó music for more than a decade now. They express their love and respect for this region and its culture with the dance houses they host in Budapest every two weeks. Their repertoire includes not only the so-called “classical” Moldavian melodies [that became popular in the urban dance house movement], but also melodies from some of the more out-of-the-way Csángó villages in Moldavia (Romania).
