FolkEmbassy evening’: dance house, party, conversation

The traditional musicians, singers and dancers – known in Budapest's dance house movement by a term used in ethnographic research: “informants”– are leaving us one by one.

This series focuses on speaking with the leaders of the dance house revival movement that were there from the start. They taught us about the peasant culture where the dances and songs were born, and now their stories and experiences can give us direction and food for thought.

On September 29th our guest will be Kossuth Award winning folk singer and story teller Berecz Andrá s.
