Pianist KÁROLY GÁSPÁR is one of the major figures on the Hungarian jazz scenes. He has played with everyone who is anyone in this country. His trio plays a mixture of standards and original tunes, Their music is fresh, forward-looking, romantic and aesthetic while respectful of its mainstream roots. Károly is partnered by bassist BALÁZS HORVÁTH and drummer BENDEGÚZ VARGA. Their album, Outsider was released in February 2017. In same year it was voted „Album of the Year” by the readers of Hungary’s online jazz magazine, JAZZMA.
The trio second album -„Salvation” (TOM-TOM Records)- released in 2019.
