Dance house gets the spotlight on Fonó Wednesdays!

Every week we invite two guest bands to play dance house music all evening. Góbé and PásztorHóra bands will play every two weeks for Hungarian string band and Moldavian dance houses. Other bands from Budapest, the countryside and communities outside Hungary’s borders will also play for dancing during the season.

Come with, or without a partner; with or without dance experience! Everyone is welcome!

Üver Band - What holds this varied group of musicians together?  Traditional Hungarian folk music!

Members of the Band: Bartis Zoltán „Kicsi”, György Attila, Bálint Zsombor, Kostyák Márton.

Their folk music repertoire takes them to all kinds of folk dance festivals. Of course they have their own tastes and favorite traditional master musicians, whose beautiful music they strive to learn and adopt in its most original form… and then pass on to people who are interested and would simply like to have a good time.
