19:00 Tarsoly Band - record release concert: “ Nyírségi muzsika ”

Tarsoly Band was formed in 2010 by students of the Bartók-Pikéthy School of Music in Vác, Hungary. They give concerts regularly and function as the accompanying band for numerous adult and children’s folk dance groups. Their first record was released in 2011 with the title “ Szombaton este ”, later came “ Patakparton- Rákosmente népzenéje ” (2017) and “ Mindenkié ” (2018).

Their newest recording “ Nyírségi muzsika ” is intended mainly for use during dance teaching. The record release concert will provide a taste of this material.
