Makay Anna (voice, pedals) , Kertész Endre (cello) and Bartek Zsolt are preparing a special concert for Fonó’s Chamber Thursday series. This will be the first time the trio performs together - sailing mainly on the breeze of improvisation.

Anna arrives with a background in singing, vocal techniques, improvisation and electronic music. She is interested in private spheres, the relationship between the analogue and digital worlds, traumatized generations and intimacy. She performs solo under the name of MA’AM, and in several duos, trios and collectives.

Endre is an extraordinary many sided individual, particularly when it comes to music. He works in many Hungarian formations including: Lajkó Félix’s band, Nosnach!, Programozott Sejthal, Budapest Improvisers Orchestra, Bélaműhely, Mókus, Ágoston, Paizs, Goda, Frenák, the Grecsó brothers, Vas, Vér, Vencsellér.

Zsolt (wind instruments, effects) fuses the world of theater, classical music and free music. He will use different wind instruments at the concert, which will work in a non-traditional way.
