Parno Graszt is one of the most original and popular bands playing traditional Gypsy music. Their concerts are dynamic, the animated performance style and zesty music guarantee to get the audience moving. The Fonó is like home for them: this is where they started out 20 years ago - playing their first concerts and releasing their records from here.

Ever since, they have travelled the world, performing in nearly every European country, many countries in Asia and several times in the USA and Mexico. The band burst into international music popularity in 2002 with their first recording “ Rávágok a zongorára ”, which was voted number 7 on World Music Charts Europe. Then in 2019, their latest record “ Már nem szédülök ” was number three on the same world music hit list. The nine member band - which is essentially a family, as they are all related in some way or another - plays authentic Gypsy music, though they also do countless popular original compositions and covers (i.e. Quimby, AC/DC). In 2016 Parno Graszt made it to the Hungarian finals for the Eurovision Song Contest with their tune “A Dal” – which helped increase their popularity not only internationally, but to a wider audience in Hungary as well.
