Upcoming events
The band rethinks Early Music – while retaining its inherent connecting strength, layers arising from that framework are filled out with improvisation.
These contemporary reflections are not entirely foreign to Early Music. According to musicology, improvisation was a basic part of Baroque and Renaissance music. Improvisation then - in a unified musical language – is really not that different from composed music… It is important to note that more than one composer was considered avant-garde in his own time. The trio basically works on rethinking Early Music with contemporary improvisational elements to recreate a coherent whole.
Juhász Orsolya – voice
Ajtai Péter – double bass
Porteleki Áron – drum, viola
