Gypo Circus

In the fall of 2011 five musicians from radically differing musical and social backgrounds founded Gypo Circus. The band from Szeged has brought Hungarian folk-ska-punk to a new level. From the outside, perhaps the production seems to be a new version of Ocho Macho, but here there is a completely different flavor and feel for life. The band’s three main strengths: fascinating music knowledge, serious talent for composing refrains, first class lyrics. Their old dream was to bring about a sound where Balkan ethno, Gypsy and punk meet.
