Fonó Wednesday: Góbé, PásztorHóra and a special performance by Transylvanian musician: Horváth Elek with his band

Closing the course on traditional dances of Vajdaszentivány/Voivodeni (Transylvania, Romania), the evening begins with a short performance by the teachers of the course and guests invited from Transylvania to provide a summary of traditional dances and music of Vajdaszentivány taught in November and December.

Dance house to follow the performance with fiddler Horváth Elek and dancer Mező Ágnes from Vajdaszentivány!

Also following the performance:  usual Wednesday dance houses with Góbé Band and PásztorHóra.
Everyone is welcome with or without dance experience and dance partner!

Góbé Band is becoming more and more popular for their world music concerts – but the band members firmly believe that playing authentic Hungarian folk music is equally as important. They maintain their goal of serving Hungarian dance house audiences with good music for dancing. They are pleased to launch this series of regular dance houses in cooperation with PásztorHóra Band.

PásztorHóra Urban Csángo Folk Band brings you dynamic, youthful, energetic, whirling, cathartic music!
