Dresch Quartet

Dresch Mihály is a musician on his own path; he doesn’t fit into any of the usual pigeonholes. He is a jazz musician that is at home in Hungarian folk music. A universal contemporary artist, he is DRESCH . His recordings all become part of contemporary Hungarian music history, they are timeless works, which even after decades are still good to put on and listen to, never boring. In each one, there is a freshness and a playful, experimental tendency - which in terms of music and form become eternally contemporary. In person he is the timeless "Dreschmisi" who plays his instruments with unbelievable technical knowledge.

This will be Dresch’s third performance at the Fonó this fall. Each time he arrives with a different formation; and now he’ll perform with his legendary quartet.
