BY POPULAR DEMAND: CSÍK BAND WILL DO AN ADDITIONAL CONCERT AT 3 PM DECEMBER 28TH

This concert presents the turning points in human life, highlighting the holidays and celebrations with their related the folk customs, music and cuisine, all seen through Csík Band’s own musical world.

Our main message is still the importance of upholding tradition for the coming generations. Our treasured customs have accumulated from previous generations and it is our responsibility to protect and pass on this intellectual heritage. If we do the job well, our history 'will never end'.

During the performance Borbás Marcsi will treat us to Hungarian tradition from the gastronomical point of view.

Since folk music is the most magnificent together with folk dance, our guest will be the Fitos Dezső Folk Dance Group.

Song and prose performed by Vecsei H. Miklós, young actor at Budapest’s Víg Theatre, will help make the performance more valuable, colorful and entertaining.
