Csángálló was formed in 2009 by Sára Csobán and Bősze Tamás Jean-Pierre. Since 2013 they have been performing in their present line-up and have been continuously present on the Carpathian Basin world music scene, regularly playing at dance houses, clubs, summer festivals, in theatre and dance theatre programs, while also doing concerts abroad. The ensemble does collection work, most often heading towards Transylvania’s Gyimes Valley and Moldavia to get inspiration from traditional music in its own milieu.
