For the last seven years violinist Vizeli Máté and his wife, cello player Konta Noémi, have been playing together regularly in the Simplicissimus Chamber Ensemble and in other independent concerts. They concentrate on stylistically authentic and high level performance of Baroque music written for their instruments, while also reviving rarely performed pieces of the period. They provide brief background information on the composers and works with the goal of giving the audience with a more complete experience. This concert will feature works by English Baroque composers along with the folk music that influenced them.
